it will be on the rhs of the block (if looking at the front of the car)
Inside the casing where the top rad hose attatches.

WARNING !!! Make sure the cover is on the gearbox inspection hole or block it up.

I did a "Quick" replacement of said thermostat a few years back - and in my hurry I dropped the bolt from the thermostat housing straight into the gearbox, Had to remove the whole box (not happy)

Thanks, Damian. Now I see it ! Is this a SAAB only part ?? Europarts don't stock it. Do you know who does ??
