Anyone know if this 'fault light' showing on the dashboard would result in a MOT (UK) failure and if it would be classed as either unsafe or dangerous on the road. Thanks.

A requirement for Xenons is a functioning levelling system, unfortunately as far as I know its a fail. It can be as simple as one of the sensors (located on wishbones) have been damaged or is faulty.
Thanks kevgib, will get it checked out. Wasn't sure if the lights could be dazzling other drivers in the dark.

To clarify - if they drop and remain there, then you have a problem. In my case it was a dead rear sensor. The official procedure is to recalibrate the system with the new sensor - using Tech 2 - but I'm not sure how how big the tolerance band is between sensors, so you might be lucky and find the new one is OK without recalibration.
