Repair SID pixels

I bought a new ribbon for my SID 2 to fix the pixel. My problem is that in a previous repair I used super glue to attatch the broken ribbon, does anyone know how I should go about removing the bad ribbon without damaging it more so that I can replace it with the new ribbon? In other words what will remove super glue without damaging the ribbon? Will heating it up with a het gun work? I'm afraid acetone will ruin it? Thank you for any suggestions. And yes I know super glue was a stupid move. :(

Maybe a Stanley blade could slice the glue from the ribbon? I once sent my SID off to a online company who offer to replace the ribbon, screen and other bits to permanently fix the pixels but within 6 months the pixels were missing again so you probably cant do much worse.
I gave up trying after that.
Although that was on my00 95 (orange pixels) so I'm hoping the later Green Pixel SID don't suffer the same fault.
