Rear Seat Squab removal HELP

I have a 2009 9-3 Aero TTID and need to remove the rear seat squab and one fold down, the wider one.

My manual says give the seat squab a tug to remove.....................Now I am strong and short of tearing the seat squab in half it isn't going to move.

has anyone any help they can give me to remove this item in one re usable piece PLEASE ??

ps the vehicle is the estate version

the rear of the squab lift up easily enough a couple of inches, you then need to grab the front of the squab (about 1/3 and 2/3's in) there are two clips, you just pull up, admittedly with a LOT of force to remove. there is a chance that the plastic receiver in the floor may crack, but I had removed mine without issue. It is a leap of faith...
