Fault Code read via VS550 - is this a replace the glow plugs code?

Car is on original plugs and completed 180K (relatively trouble free - touch wood!!!)

Hi Day1zero

Is the car starting and running fine. If so. I've had this error come up after haveing work done on the car. Its usual a non error.

The fix was to go for a long drive (at least an hour or so) and park the car up for an hour or so. When you start the car again light should be off.

Then will start to look at Optical sensor as suggested....

hi guys im new on here, I do no quite a bit about saabs though, i have a 2008 9-3 tid 150bhp, takes a few turns in the morning with a cloud of smoke when it eventually fires, comes up limited performance, code reads p0380 glow plug relay circuit A malfunction, I checked the plugs and all 4 were burnt out, replaced them and still have the same fault. replaced the relay and I still have the same code, checked the wiring and theres no breaks or corrosion, the car drives fine but I need to find the fault incase I end up with more faults and assume its this. I have also changed the diesel filter and cleaned the tank to eradicate any water in the fuel. THIS IS DRIVING ME NUTS CAN ANYONE HELP THAT MAY HAVE HAD THIS PROBLEM AND SOLVED IT , every time I clear the code it comes back up before I even start it, there is someone who nos how to fix this, they just need to share the knowlage lol
