1.7gb in zipped files - hmmm

 

Great find, quick question before downloading - presume the files will be PC compatible only?

I was a bit skeptical with this being zip file but it seemed to work fine. didnt find any viruses with nortons. One thing I forgot to mention was when you unzip it it will be in MDF file type. I downloaded a free Program called Alcohol 52% which allows the WIS to run on your computer like its on a CD in your drive (virtual drive). otherwise you can use a converter software and change it to an iso file.

 

It will be for PC only, I take it you are a Mac user as you wouldn't have asked if not.

It says under about that it is Microsoft. so I assume it PC only but am not 100%

I paid £4 for that off ebay. it doesn't work with 64-bit operating systems which is crap. most versions of windows 7 are 64-bit.

If you have pro / ultimate then you can use the xp mode virtual machine that's available

No but I have bought it off eBay & still have it in my share folder on Dropbox from when I hosted it for forum members before I became a mod

You will find links over on saabnet via saabcentral although don think they will be around for long..........

In my own experience WIS will only run in XP mode as part of W7............although others say you can run in W7 32bit

 

Bought mine off eBay for a fiver works on win 7 in virtual mode.

 

Bought mine online and it works fine in WindowsXP Service Pack 3 compatibility mode on Windows 8 (64 bit). EPC also works well.

 

Which version of windows 8 do you have, mine is the home edition and I am not to sure whether i have the compatibility mode or not. Thanks

 

Right click the exe file, properties. Compatibility mode is selected there.
Not sure which version mine is (it's on a tablet - not RT though - so won't be anything fancy)
