9-3 SS Drivers Seat height adjuster

hi everyone, wonder if any of you can help me please.

Just got out of my car and tried to adjust the seat height up ready for my wife to get back into it, and pumped the lever upwards a couple of times then the handle went loose and the seat wasnt adjusting anymore.

Anyone else had this problem, or can help me at all.

No doubt it will turn out to be a minimum £500 repair like all the other repairs ive had.

fingers crossed it something simple.

I've had this all it is is the screw head needs tightening back up. I asked the same question with no answer and played about until I worked out with mine thats all it needed. I think I used the screwdriver or star shaped bit from the tools in the boot to sort out mine....

thanks a lot Valamar. I will have a look at the weekend, the wife has it at work all day and its pitch black time she comes home, so it will be easier when i can see it.

Hi...I had the same issue...2 minute job..pop out the centre cap and tighten the screw...Jobs a good un....

Feeling lucky now, thats the last 2 probs with my car being nice simple fixes, this seat prob and the squeeky circulatuion fan wd40 fix lol.
