Young guy & his Carlsson - H E L P # 2!

Well guy's. Here i am again! Within a week of ownership my new toy has broken. I have treated it nicely but i guess i should have expected this on a car with 220k and less than a grand. The ABS lights lit up on the dashboard, followed by the (!). My brake pedal then went rock solid, and i found myself doing 40mph with no means of stopping. Fortuneatly, there was no traffic about at the time. I have called out the AA and they said it is the brake servo. They have checked all the pipes and the fuses and all is o.k. So, anyone have any suggestions? I appreciate all the help given as i am slightly worried about the cost of this one, and if anyone has any idea of prices please put me out of my misery!

My heart goes out to you Alan, I'd had mine just 2 days and it starting dumping all the coolant. At least that was still semi-drivable though!!

You can get quotes for the part from the following sources.

Best just to ring around the specilaists for a fitting cost.
