If it helps, my mums father was jockenese there is some German in there as well in the last hundred or so years i understand.

If only my parents still lived in Houston....

Theres a RHD 9-5 Aero Turbo6 on that auction for the last ever saabs built. Do you reckon you could just send it to vosa and get it approved or is it more complicated than that?

my sons building a kit car at the moment and that will need a IVA test very much in depth right down to basic lights conform may be this would be way to go.............with this test you can also put a age related plate on or even new if everything is new i.e engine in which the saab will be

should be treated as any other import, as long as it conforms to the regs - issues likely to be lighting assuming it is LHD.
