Hi all
I'm still on the trail of a noise that comes (seemingly) from the front of the car when turning left at speed, especially when braking down hill. I've had the car off the gound a few times now and there jsut isn't any sign of roughness or noise at any of the wheels, but while changing the front discs and pads at the weekend I did notice a very little play in the bearing/joint where the intermediate drive shaft goes through the bearing on the subframe. It just made me wonder what noise I should expect if this were failing? It is on left hand corners that the nosie occurs which might fit with the engine pressing to the right and against this bearing?
