I went to Viking Saab in Watford at lunchtime to have the wheel alignment set on my Aero and one of the guys had just delivered an Abbotted 9000 Aero that they'd had in for some work. It had just had uprated brakes fitted (perhaps that's what it was doing at Viking?)

Apparently, it has a highly-tuned Abbott ECU, the brakes, suspension and possibly an LSD?

Did it belong to a Saabscene reader?

Hmmmnnnn.....very interesting...
I've been there when a old guy, with an Abbotted C900 T16 has been in to see the tech.s and parts guys, and they seem to be reasonably aquainted with Abbott stuff.

I was surprised to hear them talking about it today. This was the first time I've heard them talking about performance stuff and they seem to know a little bit about it. One of the guys I spoke to there used to marshal at track days many years ago (and saw an Aston get written off at one).
