I am looking at the Abbott VRK they note that the sub frame bar will reduce clearance by 25 mm but say under normal circumstances this should not be an issue.

I am also going to get lowered springs (30 mm) & dampers

Does any one have both on and does it bottom out over speed ramps etc.

Thanks

Eoin,
I have Eibach springs and Koni Dampers fitted to my 9-3 Aero, along with the full Abbott VRK, and I don't have any problem with the sub frame brace taking on speed bumps - It's the front spoiler I have problems with, but just have to slow down and into 1st gear to get over some of them. If I'm going any more than walking pace, the spoiler grounds out coming off the speed bumps.

It may come down to what size tyres you have. My 9-3 grounded on speed bumps after fitting the Koni kit - no problem after going up to 225/45/17s though.
