I have a 92 model 2.3 16v cse, I do not have an owners manual so can someone help with the following.
1. Should an indicator light appear with the A/C switched on?
2. I have a hiss which seems to be coming from around the valance covering the w/wiper motors etc, an idea's?
3. Battery charging at about 14.6 volts, and now battery dead, coincidence or problem.
4. Can I download a wiring diagram from anywhere?

Thanks

Is it manual A/C? If so, the switch should light up when pressed. If it's ACC, I don't know the answer, sorry.
The hiss is quite likely to be A/C related.
Battery voltage is on the high side. Prise the tops off the battery and see what sort of condition it's in inside. I'd suspect that it may have boiled dry at that voltage. Mine runs at about 13.8 with no problems.
Some parts of the wiring diagrams can be downloaded from www.alldatadiy.com.
You have to subscribe, but it doesn't cost much and there's loads of useful info on the site.

With ACC, there should be an indicator next to the 'Auto' button when on'.

In 'Econ' mode, the ACC compressor is disabled.

Re the hiss, suggest removing valance & using hose as stethoscope to locate noise
