Hi folks,
After getting thoroughly fed up with the vacuum hoses on my car splitting & falling off, I finally went to my local motorsport shop to see what they had. Silicone Hose seemed to be the answer, and so after parting with £18 for 3 metres, I trundled off home and spent a joyous day relacing most of my hoses! I think there must have been some of the old hose that was faulty, as the car now runs smoother & responds better. All in all, the best £18 I've ever spent!
(And the hoses come in various tasteful colours as well!)

Hi Pete,
Did this last year to mine....
If you've replaced the pipe from the intake manifold to the cam cover then...
Check carefully that the non-return valve was installed the correct way round in the pipe.
If it isn't. It will now allow air to pass through the pipe to the cam cover. Then a build up of pressure will push oil out of the filler tube!!!!! Not a good idea to understate it.
