I have a 94 SAAB 9000 CS. I have removed the carpet barrier on the passenger side down by the foot area under the dash board console. I was
cleaning up some antifreeze from a leaking heater core I just replaced. I found two cables, one labeled with red tape and another labeled with yellow tape. The red labeled cable has what appears to be a sensor on the end of it. The yellow cable has a multi pin (female)connector without anything connected. (This connector was found open without a cover ). My question is what does the

The yellow cable (if an 8 way multi block) is the alternate 8 way block for the SCC / Clock unit and will, if you have the analogue clock, have the speed feed wire and other bits for the SCC. This often just has a small length of yellow tape on one side to identify it.
