Any experience of these for 9000 turbo?

Way too big!

at 225 width on a 16" rinm you will need to be no bigger than 50 profile.

good tyres sizes for later 9000's, CS etc e.g 92 ish on.
225/50*16
205/55*16

for up to 1992 ish 9000's

205/50*16 and
225/45*16 (maybe just on a 6.5J rim)

Peter,

I would say you should be OK with that.

I've run that size on both my CS Aero and 1991 2.3T Carly and only had slight rubbing on the rear when laden heavily and on bumps, but nothing bad.

This is assuming you have not lowered the suspension from standard.
