is the latest score of Saabine at Beek Auto Racing's rollers

Don't mention torque though, or the gearbox will run and duck for cover. Methinks there's a wee bit of a boost spike involved, what with 470 Nm at 3,500...

Must have been a boost spike. Maarten had a very similar result at the rolling road day earlier this year.

I did notice that after the rolling road people had set boost to 1.2 bar (dropping to 1.1 above 5,000 rpm) using the 'manual' function of the SBC i-D (i.e. a solenoid rate rather than a target boost value) the last time, I got peaks as high as 1.45 on the road...

. No nasty torque humps that are likely to wrench the steering out of your hand, and progress all the way to Nirvana.
By just visualising the likely driving experience, based on that graph, I suspect that even the low rev performance in slow traffic is likely to be very smooth compared to the kind of jerky ride the GM900-9-3 turbo's give.
