A low boost problem with my Aero has now been diagnosed as my ECM thinking that the brakes are permanently applied and is reducing boost and altering fuelling accordingly. My car is a '95 Aero with TCS.

Has anyone come across anything similar?

The cure seems to be a new ECM which is a nice excuse to go all stage 1 , but I thought I'd ask the question before raiding the piggy bank.

Looking at this:



it would be worth checking what the signal on that pin on the ECU is....

In other words, is the problem actually in the ECU, or in the switch or the wiring?

Worth finding out so that a) you don't bin a perfectly good ECU and B) you don't fit a new ECU only to find you have the same problem!
