I've a few track based Q's can you advise?
Just got my new 91 2.3T 9k Carlsson back on the road with. The "Knackered Timing belt" which turned out to be a pulley was a result and its now Mot'd
My aim with this Carly is to track prep it but keep it road legal, do some trackdays in it and use it to tow my bike, and maybe some more ring laps
How much Stripping/Poly/Stiffening/etc can I go with and still have a tolerable, if not quiet, road car? Not overly worried by NVH so much as keeping a modicum of useability for varied traffic conditions.
Is a cage viable on the road or is it a safety risk without a lid?
Any other thoughts, do's and donts, bad experiences?
