Hi guys, where is the filler hole, and also where is the level check hole?
And are they easy to access without removing things?

I think mine may be running a little low.

Cheers

Why do you think it needs topping up?[/b]

Its leaking from the nearside diff oil seal.
My mechanic said he could change the seal, but saabstyle in cardiff say that because the shaft has up and down play in it that the sleeve inside the gearbox needs refurbishing.

Anyone else been through this, think saabstyle are likely to be correct, or just tried changing the seal?

I'm thinking of changing the gearbox oil on my 2001 TiD soon (108K miles). Is necessary to change the oil a total of three times? What effect could it have if the system was drained and then refilled once? Sorry if this is a dumb question with a really obvious answer :D

one last question guys, which wheel do I remove for the check level hole? drivers side or passenger?

(I have read contradicting advice)

I would imagine that it would be the passenger side , on UK models, as removing the drivers side would only let you see the timing chain, aux belt side of the engine.
