Oh well for those that missed it....
C900 8v non turbo... 2.0 even though they kept saying 2.2

They cut the front 'subframe' from the saab, and welded it under the back end of the uno.... making a rear engined rear drive uno with C900 'front' suspenion on the rear

Oh and it looked pretty good round the track, it won in the end too, after the V6 fiesta broke down... would've been close as the saabno was crawling all over the back of the fester...

I saw the one where they turned down a very solid looking brown Saab 900 Turbo in favour of an XR3i to make a thunder racer out of.
