I am a Saab Newbie and have noticed I have symptoms of an open thermostat. Please could someone post an image of where the thermostat is located. Or point me in the right direction! Many Thanks

The symptoms are when driving the car takes a while to warm up. the temp gauge is a quarter of the way up when driving for a while and my heating is a little warm when on set on maximum heat.

those are symptoms of faulty stat..

Do I need to replace the whole housing unit or am I able to remove the thermostat from the housing?

i've seen some places do the the complete housing & others that just do the stat part itself..

I HAVE the same problem the thermostat is on left of the engine near battery.the ttdi thermostat
is different to the 120/ 150 engine 1.9. I AM AT PRESENT looking for supplier of a new thermostat
