been double declutching now for a few months on the fourth to fifth change..
now I am crunching 2-3
so its down to abbott for a £600 rebuild
spoke to a few other saab specialists and they do not know how they do it for the money !!

one point of interest they plan on 20 mins to remove the gearbox !!

Not sure if it any help but just got my 1995 aero back afterhaving the box done at a local saab specialist.
The box was whining badly on the over run so it was suspected as the pinion bearings.
While the box was out I also had a genuine saab clutch, new slave cylinder, new clutch pipe, he sorted out the leak from the distributor hole and changed the engine oil and filter. The box was a slick change anyway, and he found nothing else wrong or badly worn, even at 113K.

The pinion bearings looked good to the naked eye, but the rebuild has transformed the car to it's full potential again (I have been nursing it a bit)

Total cost including VAT was £917.
Labour element was £280.

I'm running that spec now, but only for the last 4K....
