Swap door lock barrels?

Hello all,

Some local villain screwdrivered the drivers door lock on my 9000 so the key doesn't work in it now, and the central locking is only activated on that side. From removing the handle, I can see that the barrel itself is held in with two Torx screws so is removable.

Before I take all the gubbins off the passenger side to try swapping them over, can anyone confirm that they'll fit, to save me a bit of time? If not, I'll try it over the weekend and post results for completeness.

Cheers

Assuming your CDXS is '90-'93 (I've had to guess), the left-hand and right-hand cylinders are listed as different part numbers. If you can put up with it for a while, a new one should be available from Saab. You will have to give them the key number and they'll presumably have to order it. No idea of the price.
