HI Folks

hmm funny thing is happening to my 9000lpt-

Car is runnning great- had new exhaust ( previous one was blowing badly in 2 places) last week, oil changed to Mobil 1. Engine sounds smooth, no loss of performance, yet in the last week the trip computer and my fuel gauge seem to indicate that i am doing about 10mpg LESS than normal. And its not me
around!I run solely on 97 unleaded as its in plentiful supply locally.

Any ideas what to look for?
And is it relevant to do the old Fuse 9 trick to reset the ecu? I was thinking that the ECU still be trying to compensate for the exhaust problem ? Feasible or not?

I could understand this if the car was running badly etc but it is not.

Hi,
My 9000 LPT has returned roughly the same economy before and after renewing the system.
My middle box was leaking and the downpipe had a beer can (only carling as well) holding it together. It was blowing very, very badly.
The replacement was an OE downpipe, with pattern middle and back.

Hope this helps.

HMM Fuse 9 trick worked, and a large amount of
along the M4 last night helped.
Fuel economy is getting back to normal. Was averaging 29mpg last night at ahem nice cruising speeds
