Hi chaps,
Just had a strange 'whoosh' develop when on boost.
Sounds like it's coming from the glovebox!! Performance seems unaffected, gauge still works etc. Is there anything behind there that could cause it??

Thanks
Pete.

If it were a C900 I would say it was the overboost switch Diaphram that had failed.

I do not know where that switch is on 9000's.

Other than that, it could be a slip in the boost gauge pipe, but this is normally associated with a drop in the max reading you see on the gauge.

If I remember right the overboost thingy (fun-killer) is up behind the glovebox somewhere..I looked for it once or twice as you can change the setting...never found it though and the advice came from the american bullitenboard so i was never sure whether it was a left/right situation..got fed up working upside down...
good luck...
