Hey Guys:

My '94 Saab 9000CDE indicated when started the volts at 11.5. If I scan the info and cycle it, the volts read 13.5+. Why the inconsistency?

I just changed the alternator. Is there some reset that I need to do to make sure the volts is an accurate reading. The LED has always indicated the volts first, and still does.

Any imput would be appreciated.

All 9000's do it nobody seems to know why
but it is annoying

The 9000 gives you the lowerest carnking voltage for the first few seconds or until you cycle the info round, before returning to the actual voltage.

This is to give yyou an indication of the battery condition.
