Does anyone have an idea what a strange noise coming from behind the glove box area may be?it sounds like when you turn the acc off and you get a rotating sqealing sound from the temperature sensor. It only happens when you accelerate. The car is a '95 9000 aero

Hmm well since no-one else has responded...

It's really hard to describe noises in BB posts, but when you said squealing I thought "clutch". My clutch squeals a bit sometimes, and I've been advised that this is probably nothing much to worry about.

I've never heard a squealing noise from the temp sensor: mine makes a buzzing noise I also get a buzzing noise like this from the glove compartment area when accelerating, and this I think is caused by the gear change linkage - either a problem in the linkage, or worn engine mounts. That was the second thing I thought when reading your post.

Hopefully one of these might be an approximation of useful for you
