Just found this 9000 Aero for sale,
Funny thing is it has the Aero sports seats but they are trimmed in a rather crazy pattern cloth,
Anyone care to comment - i thuoght Aero's were only available with the 'Buffalo'?? leather trim???

That's not the Zegna wool upholstery that came as an option on the Aero, was it? If so it must be a rare beast indeed because very few people specified that option (wonder why?)

Doesn't look like the Zegna I've seen in a 9000 - that was a far more pipe and slippers, old man's herringbone overcoat-type affair.

This just looks like something out of a Metro or Fiesta.

Well I've said in the past that I prefer the cloth seats in my CD to the leather one's in my previous cars. Fortunately my cloth seats are covered in charcoal grey coloured cloth, not some psycho-tropic national express reject trim.

Maybe that Aero owner was a fan of Scania coaches as well as Saab cars, a bit TOO keen on his coaches by all accounts!

I'd say this was a complete retrim job, as the few cloth trimmed Aero's were all earlier cars.

I wonder if a previous owner worked for London Underground in the seat trimming dept....
