Yet more problems, this time it's the APC solenoid sticking.
Firstly, I know it's supposed to click when the ignition is switched on - should it also click when it's switching off?
Secondly, the voltage at the battery is 12v but is only 10v at the connector to the solenoid - would 10v normally be enough to operate it?
Thirdly, is it possible to clean the valve by squirting WD40 up the pipe?
And fourthly, if it's duff, what are the pros and cons of fitting say an Abbott boost control valve?
Oh yes, it's a 1989 2ltr turbo, with DI, pre-Trionic.
