Had my stg 3 fitted on Friday. Despite covering 35 miles, it still coughs and splurts (like someone pinching and then letting go of the fuel line) if my right foot is to the floor.

I can floor it in first up to 6k rpm ok, any other gear and aforementioned symptoms. Up to half throttle, runs lovely and will rev to red line smoothly.

Does adaption take longer than this? Will it sort itself out?

Your help would be most welcome, cant wait until Monday to get advice from supplier!!!!

PS I put a new D.I on as well, and it had no such issues on stage 1.

Cheers
P

Who is your tuner? I had similar issues but it was down to a failing DI
I wouldn't take too many risks and ask the advice of the tuner involved

Where's the boost needle when it's doing this? If it is like someone pinching the fuel line are you sure it's not overboost fuel cutoff?
