Certainly loads of fun but I didn't see the decimation of tyres we witnessed at Elvington. My own tyres, which started out with a few thousand miles' worth of wear on them, still have plenty of tread left. As usual with a clockwise circuit (most circuits in the UK), the outside shoulder of the front left tyre took the most wear, followed by the rear left tyre.

I concur with Bill, I didn't need to fit the new pair of tyres I'd bought for the day, well at least not for a few more miles yet. Anglesey is surfaced in smooth tarmac which is far less abrasive than concrete so it was perfectly possible to save your tyres whilst still making good progress.

Gosh Leon, that was a quick response. Thanks for the kind words. Someone asked a question about the weather ... so I left some scenic images in just to underline that IT WAS FANTASTIC! I'll try to add a few more images tomorrow. Off to bed now ... been a long day.
