If you don't want to go the whole hog, which is fairly brutal
I must admit (17's, 45 tyres, springs, Koni's wound to the max, full poly bushes, corners like it's on rails but your fillings do start to think about falling out on rough roads and it gets even more dangerous if you have a young lady with a low cut top in the passenger seat ) then I'd just do the springs myself . My last 9000 was on 15" wheels and I had the springs done- loverly!!

I'd go along with Mark on this, although I'd say that the "killer" re hard ride would be the tyres/wheels. I'm on 16" wheels 205/50, with Konis and lowered springs, with the stiffer AR bar and AR bushes all round.

Handling is superb and comfort is still very good.

Although if Mark can find me a suitably pneumatic young lady I'll happily try out the wobble test.

The ride comfort and roadholding of Gassy's car was miles better than my old Carly. I'd go for the Konis if you do chose to do the shocks.
