I'm considering buying a complete Abbott exhaust system(including cat)for my Viggen.I live in the U.S. and have not heard one of there complete exhaust systems. How does it sound compared to the stock Viggen exhaust. Thanks
Raspy is probably a good description, and they can be a little boomy, as are most sytem made of stainless, although, with the cat this should be less noticable than without the cat.
Personally, unless you intend keeping the car for a long while and enjoying the benefits of a long life stainless system, I'd buy the complete JT system from Speedparts, at a third of the price of the Abbott system.
I can't compare it to a Viggen but it certainly is a lot louder than the standard 9000 Aero. I ran an Abbott cat back system for a year before fitting the downpipe to get the full benefit. I almost changed straight back again as it sounded so incredibly loud. Now that I'm used to it it justs sounds incredible.
A lovely burble on idle and a head turning roar on full chat. Mmmm nice.
