For me I reckon these were the best bits:

Seeing, and hearing Danny's GM900 fly down the pit straight

BillJ's 90 at the hairpin
The red 99T on the grass...again

A bit of a tussle with Jason on my last session

Bit of a tussle with Kang on my 2nd session, you were quicker on the straights but I had you in the corners mate
Team Hunt on video...

My highlights:

<ul type="square">
[*]Stayed on the tarmac all day
[*]Car was 100% reliable
[*]Got my first proper hot laps in on a dry track (after 2 marred & wet trackdays)

[*]Brilliant crowd of people
[*]Getting a lift in ylee's warp-fator-9 monster

[*]Tussling with fliptop
[/list]

1) The people... great crowd both on and off the track!
2) The track... very technical and difficult to get right.
3) The cars... all saabs were within 10 secs a lap of each other. (It didn't matter what you brought ... you could be on the pace... it was down to you!)
4) The organisation... best organised proper track day I've been on bar none.

TD04 was an unequivocal success in my eyes.

Best bits for me were:-

Buying a £400 car on Thursday lunchtime - driving it 850 miles in 2 1/2 days and having nothing break, fall off or go wrong despite pushing extremely hard during the morning sessions on track

Having all the spectators on the pit straight cheering at the end of my last morning session with Ross (Captrossco) as passenger

Seeing my Gaffer tape and cable ties float around the paddock and patch up numerous cars - whoever designed the pair of them is a rich man - a paddock isnt complete without them

Doing a scandinavian flick round the left hander between the hairpin and douglass - Ross particularly liked that one

The after party wasnt bad either

Pete.

Best bit for me, and I think most of the organising committee:

Knowing you all had such a good time- we'll do it again next year

Best Bit for me?

Where do you start! Meeting a great bunch of Guys (and some of there partners)

Having a WILD
time in an auto on the track

Having access to helpful people who were mad enought to passenger with me and offer advise which I did listen to (in the end)

And last but not least for my bed after a hectic day playing on the track

Thanks to the Saabscene track team for organising the event (and can I sign up for next year)

For me?

The fun everyone was having.

The friendliness and helpfulness of everyone.

The track, weather and views.

The karting (oh how I'm bruised...)

The dutch (you're all mad!!!!)

I'm just sorry I didn't get to see more people to talk to but I seemed to spend a lot of it under my car.

TD05 anyone?

Andrew.

The best thing for me?

Ylee's BBQ
(even though there were no pies)

In fact, everything about the day was good.

SSc TD05? For sure.

The best thing - Getting the lines dialled by the end of the day, all the sociable bits, including the bbq.

The worst thing - my hangover on Sat. Thought I was going to die.

The scariest thing - my first spin.

Who won the karting, by the way?

Hmm, there's some debate about that... on the grounds that in the second session when some of us didn't have the clonk kart
, we were making better progress... however on the only session that we got times for, Matt, Fawlty's chef won. Something to do with being small and a low centre of gravity so they reckoned
