Hello All,

Noticed yesterday whilst driving car (2.0lpt cse without intercooler )that the car seemed to be a lot smoother in acceleration and did not quickly drop revs when changing gear. It required a look under the bonnet and I found that the metal clip holding the plug onto the bpc had broken and the plug was not fully home. Am i right in saying that this would not open the wastegate at the correct time ?, and why would the car seem smoother under acceleration ? I have reconnected the plug back up to the bpc as I would think the boost would still keep going until the Trionic realised there was something wrong and shut off fuel ?
