Last night one of the motors failed on the front passenger seat adjuster - it is the one that adjusts the pitch of the upright section - anyone had any experiences of changing one? I am assuming that the leather just unclips from the frame after removing the seat from the rails.

While it is not working I am getting complaints from my regular passenger that she has to look at me as the seat is twisted! So this will take priority over other jobs at the weekend!

I think this is the key here.

There is only one motor to my knowledge, and a shaft to link to the other side.

I'd guess that this shaft has failed. They are not that expensive from saab.

You might not even need to deskin it.
