not sure what the ICP not programmed message is about as i can not find that error message but reading other sites, the general consensus is you will need to find a garage that has the tech 2 computer to hook it up to the car to program it correctly (this may be the issue with the fuel gauge)

is that the exact error message you see on the sid "ICP NOT PROGRAMMED"?

as google isnt showing anything for it so would have figured someone somewhere would have reported it before

jon, thats also where my thoughts are, or an ICM failiure / not married to the car which is responsible for communicating with the SID and ive never heard of an ICP have you?

but this thread http://www.saabscene.com/forum/threads/120536-Icm2-to-Icm3-ECU-not-programmed
does mention an "ECU not programmed" message and states the ICM is a gateway between the Main Instrument Unit, and the SID.

so i would conclude possibly just a tech 2 session might be needed to resolve both issues (i think they might be the same)?

if there is a problem only tech2 will be able to read all the system and whether they're communicating with each other properly..

Not sure haven't got a Saab booklet replaced all fuses now still nothing ....when I turn key the stereo works lights etc but the heaters don't come on and the clocks don't move and there's no click from the steering lock tried removing battery fully charged it and still nothing ... I'm thinking it might be something todo with my previous problem of the Ipc not programmed on my clocks
