hi i have a saab 9-5 vector sport 2.3t ,its coming up with a engine management light and auto box warning light ,im now stuck in top gear in drive ,its very cluncky when passing drive and reverse ,,this morning i went out and it was driving fine ,for around 10mins now gone back into limp mode any advice would be sweet thanks
Mileage and year?
When was the ATF last changed?
To get a better idea of the fault you really need the error code.
Common faults are valve body and TCM /Wiring electrical issues.
Have a look over at Saabcentral fro info as the yanks drive a lot more autos
Pull the battery for 20 mns, see if that helps. the auto boxes have stand alone ecu's, this will reset it.
Oil change every 80-90k miles most important.
