Right hand dipped beam failure

Hi
This has probably been answered a million times before but.... I have not found a definitive answer to my problem.
I have a right hand dipped beam failure message appear on the dash.
The bulb in question is a H9 unit.
I have replaced said bulb but the message still appears.
Can anyone shed some light on my problem?
2009 9-3 1.9 tdi 150

As it happens, I've sorted the problem.
Dud bulb from new.
