I've always found the reverse light on my CSE to be a bit lacking. Previous 9000s had two reverse lights but the CS models have only one. It's counterpart on the other side is the fog light. To make matters worse the reverse light has to shine through a grille of clear dots in the red decor panel further cutting down on the amount of light to see with.
Now for a few years I've had lying in my garage a 12V 34/4W bulb which I'd bought by mistake once. Eventually I've found something to do with it. By filing off one of the bayonet pins I was able to insert it in place of the standard 21W bulb so that I now have a 34W reverse light. Not a lot brighter but noticably so and enough to make reversing into the drive that bit easier especially on these cold wet winter nights. :))
