This will work if your SID is by the speedo

1 Turn ignition key to on position
2 Keep the brake pedal depressed diesel engines only
3 Select SETTINGS using the steering wheel < > buttons
4 Hold the SET button depressed until a chime sounds
5 Select TIME FOR SERVICE (using < > buttons to locate through the menu)SET to enter
6 When asked RESET SERVICE CHECK ? select yes/SET to select (go back/undo using CLR button)
7 Release brake pedal diesel engines only

Works on mine without pressing the brake pedal Kez! And one thing - if your time for service gets out of sync and shows --- and you dont want to pay for tech2 then here's a nice & easy fix - change your date say adding a year from 2013 to 2014 does the job every time! It's not as if you need the date is it!

Just as a warning for some, if you replace your stereo with an aftermarket one, you lose this functionality altogether as it is reliant on the OEM stereo clock.

Just thought I'd mention it for the few that it may effect.
