hello everyone i want to replace amp in the boot with aftermarket one ( rockford fosgate prime 4 channel) and run all speakers from it.
its 150 7 speaker system with one amp in the boot 93 ss 2007 question is;

can i use preamps signal for rca both front and rear?
can i run door speakers without crossover which are 2ohm directly from amp?
where to connect amp remote?
as its 4 channel amp can i just use 1 channel for dash 1 chanel for doors speakers and another one for rears?

As far as i know actually read filtering happens in amp not in the headunit.

sorry for reviving a old post, but my amp in my 07 9-3 just got water damaged thanks to shark fin..... did you ever get the aftermarket amp to work (did your door speakers work too after install?)
