No mine, did you remove the 60 amp fuse as well?

No engine light for me either. (with or without the 60amp fuse in place). I assume the light has come on straight after you removed the plate?
I'd potentially disconnect and reconnect all the electrical plugs in the vicinity and check everything is in place OK + hose clamps are all nice and tight.

can somebody please explain to me what the heat plate is and what models it came on, also can you explain what the advantages for removing it are
