No turbo is necessary as the LPT and FPT share the same one (except the Aero).
To convert to FPT you will need an APC solenoid and associated hoses (the car is prewired electrically) and the ECU from an FPT. This might need to be fitted by a dealer/specialist with Tech II capabilities in order to reprogramme the VSS (Vehicle Security System) if fitted. There are 4 possible ECU part numbers which apply to your car based on chassis number and whether or not you have VSS. There are also 4 possible FPT ECUs meeting the same criteria. I strongly suspect that you would need the corresponding FPT ECU in order for it to work in your car.
