I notice that a number of posts, particularly the interior temp sensor topic, recommend spray with a light machine oil or a light spray oil.

I have found some "three in one spray" in my tool chest - is this light spray oil?

I don't think I have seen it sold in a spray can but it you can always put it in an 'atomiser'

Wondering if PTFE spray which is apparently good lube but dry non oily also OK for that job?Available in bike shops.

I've seen the spray and yes it should be ok.

I prefer to use plusgas.

Top allround product and cheap too. Available at most motor factors.
