Hello lads! I got a 2003 9-3 with the infamous hard to swap stereo. So i got a couple of questions!
I was thinking of just pulling the cd player portion and installing it there, keeping the original infortainment unit.
1: can i make some form of getho fiber loop by splicing the fiber optical wires in some way? Actual loops are expensive as hell when it comes to shipping to norway.
2: is it still possible to use original amps in the car with the new headunit, or do i need to throw in some aftermarked amps insteant?
3: anny good ideas of how to close of the triangles on the sides of the new unit? I was thinking of just chopping them off from the old unit, gluing them in on the sides of the new one.
