Hi folks.
i have just ordered a jr performance filter for my anniversary and intend at some stage to put in a stage 3 maptun,system can any one tell me if the filter alone will make any difference to start with and will fuel consumtion be better.

I have dropped JR filters in both turbo and non-turbo cars. From my impression, I get an earlier pick-up in performance. You could sort of equate that to something like less turbo lag, if you get my drift.

More air means more fuel requirement in order to keep the air/fuel mixture in proper proportion I would think. Never checked

You might want to remove the air box snorkle as well. This will allow for even more airflow.

Thanks guys for the info but im not sure what you mean about removing the air box snorkle could you please simplify that for me im not sure what you mean.
