A while ago I mentioned that my car cuts out at junctions sometimes. I've eliminated a few possibilities but I've discovered that I have a non-operational dump valve (replacing this w/e!) and I wonder if this is the cause? I have temporarily blocked the vacuum hose to the valve, since I was losing vac through it.

I notice that the cutting out only happens if you are accelerating under some boost, and then you lift off the throttle and let the clutch out. Makes me think the compressed air stalling the turbo is choking the engine. Possible do you think?

It will be interesting to see if the new dump valve cures this.
