Been preparing this weekend to sort some more poly bushes on the Aero and Carlsson.

Hopefully I will be starting tomorrow (in the borrowed pit). Quick question, has anyone removed the lower near side suspension sub frame without supporting the engine and gearbox?

You mean the bit that the gearbox mount is bolted to?
I imagine that the engine/gearbox would drop rather drastically, perhaps limited by the exhaust, since the other mountings are all at the other end of the engine.

What's the idea of dropping the subframe?

I'm not sure I'm at liberty to say, suffice I'll need to prop the engine and gearbox while fitting it.....

Also, note how easily one of the wishbone bushes came out, I just pushed with my thumbs.

The other one was a different story.....
